For the autumn / winter issue of Dansk magazine, Joachim Mueller-Ruchholtz works with Dree Hemingway to create this nomadic inspired fashion editorial. Stylist Anders Soelvsten Thomsen works with chunky knits, furs and colorful prints to bring a sense of traveling spirit and adventure to the photographs. These images reflect the beauty of nomadic style.
We think the photography here is beautiful, the light, the contrast and everything else. In particular the black and white images are very striking, yet the color images reflect more of a warm nomadic beauty, through the colorful prints.
This playful and lighthearted editorial has some great images, and they appear to have a real story and narrative behind them. The close-up black and white images stand out particularly, as well as Dree’s gorgeous profile shots. Overall, we feel that this is a very engaging and beautiful set of photographs.
