Why:
I’m a day late on this one, but because I firmly believe in the message, I’m in purple for Spirit Day - to support gay teenagers and stand up against online (and offline) bullying.  Life is too short for anyone to spend time teasing and bullying others because they are different from you. I see far too many adults continuing this kind of abusive behavior and it breaks my heart.  We’re all human and we’re more alike than we are different. 

And to anyone who is being teased - whether its for your sexual orientation or just because people are jerks - you are not alone.  Bullying is NOT ok - whether you’re a child, a teenager or an adult.  No matter how alone you may feel Czech Republic Soccer Jersey, you’ve got a lot more people who love and care for you than you think.
