Spring Accessory Trends to Look Forward To Headpi

With the post-Christmas blues setting in for many of us it helps to think that spring is just around the corner. Not only does that mean better weather and longer days but spring also brings with it a whole host of new jewellery trends we can start getting excited about now.

Judging from the runways, cuffs are set to be huge this spring. Chanel, Zac Posen, Yves Saint Laurent and Stella McCartney are just some of the many designers who sent models down the runway displaying an array of cuffs. Not only are cuffs back, but this season it’s all about making a daring statement with your jewellery, so it’s no longer enough just to wear one cuff. Chanel showed double cuffs for both Cruise and Spring/Summer 11 collections, while Georgio Armani piled his model’s arms high with three cuffs.

Young&ng’s (http://youngandng.com) Spring/Summer 2011 collection features a number of cuffs worth getting excited about. This Antique Gold Cluster Cuff encrusted with gold and gunmetal beading and antique gold studs looks great alone or doubled for a more dramatic effect.

The Gunmetal Shattered Glass Cuff ($480.00) is a great statement piece and gives a hard edge to Spring’s floaty looks.

This Sculptured Window Cuff ($480.00) in Antique Gold is both edgy and classic. A great investment piece that will take you well past spring/summer 2011.

Headpieces have also been becoming increasingly popular both on the runway and on celebrities. Rick Owens sent his models down the catwalk wearing an unusual array of dramatic headpieces for his Spring/Summer 2011 collection and the likes of Leighton Meester, Milla Jovovich, The Olsens and Katy Perry are all fans of adorning their hair to make their look really stand out at those red carpet events.

Young&ng’s Spring collection features a selection of beautiful headpieces, ranging from the delicate to the dramatic. This Thin Antique Gold Head Piece ($655.00) encrusted with gunmetal beading and antique gold studs could be worn both day and night and is the ideal piece to complement Spring’s hair trend for loose, messy waves.
